The Alchemist is an industry-leading cocktail bar and restaurant, pushing the boundaries on theatrical cocktails, exciting serves and unforgettable guest experiences.

Our menu boasts over 50 signature cocktails, from drinks served on fire and in lightbulbs to edible cups, spherification, clarification and carbonation. There's always something exciting happening behind the bar.

As a Bar Support, you'll play a key role in keeping the bar running smoothly. You'll work alongside our bartending team, helping prepare for service and keeping the bar stocked, clean and ready to go.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing cocktail ingredients and homemade bar components

  • Maintaining and cleaning and restocking glassware

  • Keeping bar stock levels topped up

  • Supporting the bartending team throughout service

  • Keeping the bar clean, organised and ready for guests

You'll need to be hands-on, energetic and eager to learn, with a great attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Experience is welcome but isn't essential. We'll provide you with a training plan suited to your availability and experience, with the opportunity to develop your skills and progress into a Bartender role in the future.

We'll train you across cocktails, beers, wines, spirits and coffee, giving you the knowledge and confidence to build a career behind the bar.
